Susan believes that seeking support is a powerful and brave first step in the healing process. She considers the therapeutic process a unique partnership where a safe, non-judgmental space is designed for healing and learning. Her sessions emphasize a combination of Eastern and Western modalities with an emphasis on CBT, the mind/body connection, and DBT/mindfulness strategies. Susan Woolf has over 20 years of experience in trauma work, especially with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also enjoys working with couples, individuals, and adolescents who may be experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and/or relationship issues. By attuning to each individual’s unique needs, Susan Woolf helps clients understand the cause of their suffering and pain and works to help them facilitate change in pursuit of a life that feels authentic, valued, and worth living.
